Wage Subsidy

Wage subsidy offers employers support by helping with:
- A portion of wages for employees
- Re-hiring laid off employees
- Hiring new employees
- Filling various hiring needs
- Existing operations or expansions to reduce work-related barriers for an employee with disabilities

Community & Employer Partnerships

Grow your team and your business with WorkBC's Community & Employer Partnerships (CEP). This network of community organizations and employers collaborates to strengthen the local labour market.
To increase employment and work experience opportunities in the North Okanagan, CEP works with you to support:

- Labour market partnerships
- Project based labour market training

- Social innovation
Employer presentations & hiring fairs

Grow awareness about current and future opportunities in your company and attract potential applicants with employer presentations and hiring fairs. Hosted by WorkBC Centre -Vernon in our first-floor Resource Centre, in downtown Vernon, BC, enjoy the chance to meet job-seekers in a convenient, neutral location. We also help you make the most of your presentation by promoting it to job-seekers in our centre and online.
