‘Eye-opening and empowering’: Jordan’s encouraging experience with Accelerate program

At WorkBC Vernon, we always appreciate feedback from our clients. Recently, WorkBC client Jordan shared a written account of her experience with the Accelerate Essentials Skills Program.

"I recently completed the Accelerate program through WorkBC in Vernon. I can't say enough good things about it. The experience was truly eye-opening and empowering. 

A big part of that was thanks to our mentor, Juli - she was incredibly supportive, and I appreciated how she shared personal experiences that felt real and relatable. Her guidance helped create a safe, encouraging space where I felt comfortable exploring new ideas about myself and my skills. 

The small group I was paired with made the experience even better. The atmosphere was relaxed and positive, and the short group projects we worked on were simple, fun, and helped us connect with one another. 

This program helped me discover strengths I didn't even know I had. It gave me a boost in both skills and self-confidence that I know will be valuable on my journey ahead. I'd absolutely recommend the Accelerate program to anyone looking to grow, reflect, and gain real tools for moving forward."
